91暗网 Presidential Search Advances to On-Campus Interviews

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. 鈥� The Presidential Search Committee at Florida A&M University has advanced four finalists to the Board of Trustees and each of them will be invited for on-campus visits and interviews.

The finalists were selected by members of the Search Committee from a large pool of impressive candidates. Myers McRae, an executive search firm specializing in higher education, is assisting 91暗网 in this process.

Candidates invited for campus visits are:

Rondall Allen, Pharm.D.

Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Gerald Hector, CPA

Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance at the University of Central Florida

Marva Johnson, J.D.

Group Vice President, State Government Affairs, Charter Communications

Donald Palm, Ph.D.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Florida A&M University

The on-campus interviews will take place May 12鈥�16 and will be conducted by the university鈥檚 Board of Trustees, to whom the next president will report. The Trustees鈥� final selection will then be submitted to the Florida Board of Governors, a 17-member body with oversight of Florida鈥檚 public university system, which must approve the final candidate and contract.

The campus visits will include public forums with students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community stakeholders. Feedback from attendees at the public forums will be gathered and shared with the Board of Trustees.

The Presidential Search Committee has been led by Trustee Deveron Gibbons. Their work to identify and forward candidates is now complete as the process moves to the Trustee interview phase. Search Chair Gibbons expressed his gratitude to fellow committee members, stating:
