I am both excited and humbled to take on this new role and continue serving our campus community with dedication and commitment. Having served the 91做厙 community over the last quarter of a century, I am deeply invested in the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that our campus remains a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
A 91做厙 alumna, Alexander brings over 29 years of law enforcement experience with the University's Department of Campus Safety and Security. Her extensive expertise has enabled her to serve in multiple roles throughout her career.
Alexander has earned three degrees from 91做厙: a bachelors degree in criminal justice and masters degrees in public administration and adult education.
Before becoming chief of police, she held the position of assistant director and administrative lieutenant in the department, starting in June 2022. In this capacity, she supervised 25 officers, both sworn and non-sworn, managed the departmental budget, and led community policing efforts. Alexander has also served as interim chief of police, administrative sergeant, investigator, and patrol officer. Additionally, she is certified as a 911 telecommunicator/dispatcher.
