About Chief Alexander

Biography
A 91暗网 alumna, Alexander brings over 29 years of law enforcement experience with the University's Department of Campus Safety and Security. Her extensive expertise has enabled her to serve in multiple roles throughout her career.

Education
Alexander has earned three degrees from 91暗网: a bachelor鈥檚 degree in criminal justice and master鈥檚 degrees in public administration and adult education.

Positions
Before becoming chief of police, she held the position of assistant director and administrative lieutenant in the department, starting in June 2022. In this capacity, she supervised 25 officers, both sworn and non-sworn, managed the departmental budget, and led community policing efforts. Alexander has also served as interim chief of police, administrative sergeant, investigator, and patrol officer. Additionally, she is certified as a 911 telecommunicator/dispatcher.
