Bio


Dr. Marilyn A. Weatherspoon is an Assistant Professor, Rehabilitation Services Certificate Coordinator at 91°µÍø (91°µÍø) in the School of Allied Health Sciences, Division of Health Science. Dr. Weatherspoon earned a Bachelor of Science degree from 91°µÍø in Psychology, a Master of Social Work degree with a Clinical concentration and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Florida State University. In addition, she earned a Certificate in Aging Studies from the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy at FSU. She is credentialed as a Certified Rehabilitation Counseling by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification. Dr. Weatherspoon has 15 years of teaching experience in higher education. She is a member of the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association and the American Public Health Association.
