Rafael Gamero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Modern Languages teaching fiction writing and first-year writing. He completed his MFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and his fiction and non-fiction works have appeared in The Caribbean Writer, Wasafiri, and Litro Magazine among others. He is also the editor of the Apalachee Review, an independent literary journal.
