About Me


Professor Diane Kimmel brings a rich and diverse background to nursing education, with experience in the military, K–12 education, and higher education. A former U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer, she transitioned into nursing in 2013, gaining clinical experience in medical-surgical, women’s health, and surgical services at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.

She has taught in both clinical and classroom settings at several institutions, including Florida State University and Tallahassee State College. At 91°µÍø, she now serves as a full-time nursing instructor and member of the curriculum committee, where she is committed to preparing future nurses through compassionate, evidence-based instruction.
